About Me:

 

My business, Writing by Knight, is one that has sprung from a fertile field of passion for the written word. I have written personally my entire life, have been published and have recently taken on the nudge to begin a business. Here I am.

 

I taught high school English for thirteen years with a Master's in Education and before that, I worked in the mental health field utilizing a Bachelor's in Psychology. I have always been athletic and have taken good care of myself on many levels. Through taking care of myself, I found that writing was probably the most connecting thing I could do. Sometimes when I write, I don't even realize what is being written; it's like I am a conduit for something so much greater than I am. That's how I knew I needed to do this full time.

 

I currently blog at blogspot.com, wordpress.com and gaia.com. I also serve as the Birmingham Spirituality Examiner on Examiner.com, a source for news and inspiration.

 

Currently I am living in Trussville, Alabama with my husband of seventeen years, my two children and four dogs.
